Your destroyer has been crippled.

Engines offline. Communications damaged. You are drifting in hostile waters while enemy forces close in.

The only thing still working: the radar and the weapons systems.

Your mission is simple — survive until rescue arrives.

Tactical Radar Defense

Drifting Radar is a minimalist tactical defense game where you control a damaged destroyer using only radar and limited weapons.

Enemies approach from all directions:

• drones • fighter aircraft • anti-ship missiles • fast attack boats

Each round you must assign weapons to incoming threats and execute your fire solutions before they reach the ship.

Every decision matters.

Limited Weapons, Real Trade-Offs

Weapons are powerful — but limited.

You must carefully decide when to use:

• CIWS — excellent close-range defense • Naval Gun — versatile but limited per round • Medium Missiles — reliable against most threats • Long-Range Missiles — powerful but not ideal for small targets

Use the right weapon at the right distance or risk wasting valuable shots.

Radar Combat

The entire battle is fought through a radar display.

Watch contacts approach.

Estimate their distance.

Assign weapons.

Execute the round and hope your interceptors reach the target in time.

Game Modes

Arcade Mode

Survive increasingly difficult waves until rescue arrives.

Difficulty levels:

• Easy • Medium • Hard

Scenario Mode

Hand-crafted situations including:

• Drone Swarms • Missile Strikes • Fighter Patrols • Boat Ambushes • Mixed Attacks • Last Stand

Each scenario provides different weapons and tactical challenges.

Installation

Download the game and run the executable.

Linux: Run main.py or the packaged binary.

The game requires no additional assets and runs immediately.

Resolution and fullscreen settings are saved automatically.
